Alexander Ravenstone (Previously Alex Falters)
Age: 21, born on December 28.
Location: Private, self-designed home, a ten minute’s walk from Edmonton, Canada (Different timeline, some alterations)
Parents: Michael Falters and Linda Verzande-Falters (Grandfather Thomas Verzande)
Details:
Unfriendly, selfish, yet insightful of how the world works, using it to his own advantage. He was given a few thousand dollars as a gift from his grandfather after graduating high school, which he invested in some minor companies with minor success, until he went for a chancy all-in investment in Scarab Sun Ltd., which paid off tremendously.
Having sold most of his shares after he saw the company’s value peak, he sold his shares, keeping connections within Scarab Sun Ltd. and moving his investments elsewhere in the tech business and using the market to his advantage. Tends to dabble in making custom prototypes of familiars and other creations made by Scarab Sun, some of which he’ll sell to them for production.
His personal familiar is an arctic fox named Pride. Its PME is highly customized with a complex Emotion Matrix tied in, making it one of the most advanced AIs in existence. Pride’s personality is somewhat arrogant and standoffish, often hostile and protective. He’s covered in faux fur, looking very much like a real fox. Built from scratch by Alexander himself, he rather fawns on what he considers his crowning achievement, always working to improve it in any way possible.
Creatures
Rubicon, the Clockwork Dragon (Joshua Livendale, age 24)
Clockwork appearance, built out of micro polymers rather than metal, but with a metallic paint with various (excessive) mechanical parts. Small enough to sit on a person’s shoulder.
Aries, the Fennec (Sara Livendale, age 19)
Quiet, quick and stealthy. Aries has distinctively large and sensitive ears capable of hearing things from a great distance. This agile fox is somewhat quick-tempered, not unlike his owner.
Nymphalid, the Glass Butterfly (Kindred North, age  21)
Composed of lightweight synthetic polymers, optical fibre, vibrant colours, shimmers in the dark as it flies. Though more fragile than most flying Creatures, she is quite useful indoors, thanks to her high manoeuvrability.
Drake, the Hummingbird (Peter Francis, age 19)
A smallish bird Creature that shimmers greens and blues in the sunlight, it’s quick and nimble. One of the fastest and smallest birds around.
Morse, the Firefly (Amy Falters, age 17) Smaller than even Drake, but not by much, this firefly can glow in the dark, using morse code to flicker messages to those who understand it (or can write it down to translate). Due to its size, it’s not suited for much else.
Athena, the  Manul (Keira “Jamie” James, age 22)
Taking after a wild cat, Athena is an advanced feline specializing in stealth. Like Aries, she’s a furred Creature, quite realistic in appearance with an advanced Emotion Matrix installed, making her a fairly docile yet nimble cat.
Sketchy, the Lioness (Scarlet Trésor, age 25)
An almost life-sized and very realistic Lioness with two large bull horns on its head. Surprisingly playful, but protective of her owner. Above all a very empathic familiar, capable of reading peoples’ state of mind.
